I am a Financial Advisor who has a passion for the Kingdom.

Now, the question I often get is, “why start a blog focused on Christians and money?”

First off, I believe money is a gift from God that can be used to bless others. Money itself is not evil, however the love of money is.

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs. – 1 Timothy 6:10

I strive to help you take control of your finances and give you the freedom to bless others, your family, and live the life you want to live.

Everybody is called to be involved in some way within the ministry. For some, it’s to literally be a missionary or pastor. For others, it’s to help support the efforts of others though financial means.

One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. – Proverbs 11:24

Being a good steward of the gifts you are given is paramount to living a life following Christ.

Who I Work With

In my opinion, money is not the most valuable resource, time is. Because of this, I like to make sure I work with people who share similar values as myself.

I work with people of all ages, backgrounds, shapes, and sizes. However, there are a few characteristics that seem to resonate with my clients and that I find most rewarding to work with.

  • Have a passion for serving God.
  • Recognize money as a resource, not the purpose for living.
  • Generally have a fairly conservative view of investing. Most clients place high value in the safety of their investment plan and less emphasis on taking high risk in effort to generate maximum return.
  • Patient, long term planners and investors that that understand investing, as in life, good things come with time.

How I Work

I am a Financial Advisor that proudly acts as a Fiduciary for my clients.  This means I have a legal obligation to put clients interests far before my own in all recommendations I make.

  1. Discovery Call – This allows me to get to know you and your situation as well as what your future goals are. We’ll also take a look at the challenges that could prevent you from reaching your goals
  2. Initial Meeting – This can be done virtually or at my office depending on where you’re located. We go further into the details of your financial life and determine a path that will suit you best.
  3. Recommendation/Plan Delivery – This is were we go over the plan and I give my recommendations.

Within this process, we get to really know our client’s story inside and out.  We help them identify the strengths, challenges, and opportunities they have in achieving their financial goals.

Clients will also get access to the latest account monitoring technology, which allows 24/7 access to all of their accounts, aggregated into one user-friendly platform –no more logging into several different online accounts to see the balances of all your investments.

We believe that our clients deserve the latest technologies, so we are constantly exploring and investing into new platforms.  Because of this, our planning approach tends to be more proactive than the typical financial advisor role with which most people are familiar.

Upon completion of our process, the client will receive a custom financial plan, as well as an investment strategy that is unique to them.

These plans are primarily built around life events, with retirement being the most common one.   Other events include:  wealth transfer, risk management, getting married, and expecting children.
